Gwadar is one of the few ports in the world where the water is hot, meaning it can be traded all year round. Gwadar is located at the head of all the ports of the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. The zone has approximately 60 ports from Oman, Muscat, Dubai, Ajman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and Iran. The coast of Gwadar can control the Indian Ocean because it is close to the Strait of Hormuz at the very mouth of the Persian Gulf.
