PM Shehbaz Sharif vows to avenge every martyr’s blood lost in Indian acts of aggression.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif pledged that every drop of blood shed by Pakistan’s martyrs in response to recent Indian aggression would be avenged.
In a televised speech to the nation, he declared that India would face the consequences of its miscalculation the previous night.
He highlighted how the world witnessed Pakistan’s swift and resolute response in just a few hours, despite the enemy’s numerical superiority.
The Prime Minister praised the Pakistan Air Force for compelling Indian fighter jets to retreat, stating that these once-celebrated jets have now become symbols of humiliation.
Referencing the legacy of 1965 war hero M.M. Alam, he said the spirit of his bravery echoed across the region as PAF falcons repelled Indian Rafales.
He asserted that the wounds inflicted by Pakistan’s forces would leave a lasting mark on the adversary.
Shehbaz Sharif said India overlooked the fact that Pakistan is a courageous nation whose people are ready to defend their land with unwavering resolve.
He reaffirmed national unity, emphasizing that the entire country stands with its military forces against any external threat.
Paying homage to the military leadership — including the Army Chief, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Air Chief — he said the nation takes immense pride in its armed forces.
Condemning Indian strikes on Pakistan under the pretext of the Pahalgam incident, he termed them baseless and a clear breach of international law.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan, as a peace-loving nation, had called for an independent and transparent global investigation into the incident — a call supported by several countries — but India chose hostility instead.
He stressed that Jammu and Kashmir remains a disputed territory until the Kashmiri people are granted their right to self-determination as outlined by UN Security Council resolutions.
He said India cannot alter ground realities through unilateral moves, no matter how many it undertakes.
Reminding the world that Pakistan has borne the greatest toll in the fight against terrorism, Shehbaz rejected the idea that Indian aggression could distract the country from this ongoing struggle.
He affirmed that Pakistan will continue its anti-terror campaign until the menace is completely eradicated.
In closing, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that the nation remains united and steadfast beside its armed forces in overcoming any adversary.
