Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep satisfaction over the successful completion of practical training in China by the first group of approximately 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates. The training covered key areas such as water-saving irrigation, seed production, animal husbandry, agricultural output, and minimizing post-harvest losses.
In a message shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, he thanked the Chinese leadership, the Shaanxi provincial government, and the two partnering universities. He also acknowledged the contributions of Pakistan’s Ministry of National Food Security, the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing.
Shehbaz Sharif noted that this group represents the first phase of a broader initiative to train 1,000 Pakistani agriculture graduates, a program he had announced during his visit to China in June of the previous year.
