Pakistani entrepreneur Abdul Rehman, co-founder of SmartSoil AI, received the RMB 200,000 innovation award at Beijing’s 13th Chaoyang International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference. The award recognizes his AgriTech startup’s innovative use of AI and IoT for agriculture.
SmartSoil AI integrates portable soil sensors, satellite remote sensing, and artificial intelligence to provide real-time crop diagnostics and optimize yields, helping farmers reduce costs and improve efficiency.
The startup has gained multiple accolades in China, including the Best Innovation Award at the AT Venture Builders Program and international recognition from UNESCO and Tsinghua University, highlighting Pakistan’s growing presence in global smart agriculture solutions.
