Pakistani experts who recently completed advanced training in China have begun sharing their newly acquired knowledge and modern techniques with colleagues and researchers across Pakistan, marking a key phase of the Prime Minister’s China Capacity Building Program aimed at modernizing the country’s agriculture sector.
Knowledge-sharing sessions, briefings, and technical discussions are being held at research institutes and universities to disseminate practices learned during six months of intensive training at leading Chinese institutions. Returning experts are helping local professionals adapt advanced laboratory methods, precision farming technologies, and data-driven agriculture to Pakistan’s conditions.
The program, which has trained hundreds of Pakistani professionals in areas like crop breeding, smart farming, irrigation systems, livestock disease surveillance, and value addition in food processing, aims to create a multiplier effect. By transferring skills and practical solutions, these experts are contributing to a stronger, more innovative, and modern agricultural research ecosystem in Pakistan.
