Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar received a call from Somalia’s Foreign Minister, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, on Sunday to discuss matters of mutual interest. During the conversation, the DPM/FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The DPM/FM strongly condemned any actions aimed at undermining Somalia’s sovereignty and assured that Pakistan stands firmly with Somalia in maintaining peace and stability. He also affirmed Pakistan’s backing for Somalia at the United Nations and other multilateral forums.
The Somali Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s consistent support and requested assistance in raising Somalia’s concerns at the UN Security Council. Both sides highlighted the importance of continued cooperation and mutual support in international diplomacy.
