Historic Collaboration with Stanford University
Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) Chairman, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, launched the AI Enterprise Product Program in partnership with Stanford University and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). The program prepares Pakistan’s top postgraduate students for leadership roles in the global artificial intelligence (AI) sector.
Global Certification and Career Opportunities
The program trains MPhil and PhD students in computer science, IT, and related fields. Students will receive world-class certification from Stanford. Partners Y and Obsidian bring Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem to Pakistan. The first cohort is expected to earn starting salaries of at least $60,000, connecting Pakistani youth to international job markets.
Economic Resilience and Youth Leadership
Chairman Rana Mashhood highlighted Pakistan’s rising economic strength, citing Bloomberg’s ranking of the country as the second-fastest-growing emerging economy. He said youth are driving this growth, especially in digital and technological fields. He called the initiative a “historic collaboration for the nation’s brightest minds.”
Digital Wallet Initiative for Overseas Workers
Rana Mashhood also announced a digital wallet system for Pakistani workers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This system enables safe and legal remittances, potentially channelling over $1 billion back to Pakistan’s economy.
Climate Conference and Youth Engagement
At the Climate Conference held at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Rana Mashhood encouraged youth to contribute to national service, digital innovation, and climate resilience. He urged students to counter disinformation campaigns targeting Pakistan’s youth.
Long-Term Commitment to Skill Development
Rana Mashhood highlighted the launch of Pakistan’s first National Youth Council and a Digital Environment Platform. These initiatives aim to train over 200,000 young people across diverse fields. He also emphasised Pakistan’s growing global recognition, continuous foreign delegations, and expanding international partnerships.
Flagship Initiative for Global Competitiveness
The AI Enterprise Product Program combines academic excellence with practical skills. It strengthens Pakistan’s position in the global digital economy and equips youth with the tools to compete internationally.
