Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to making artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology (IT) key drivers of Pakistan’s digital transformation.
Chairing a high-level meeting on Saturday, the Prime Minister announced an expert-based AI advisory panel to guide and oversee national AI initiatives. He said the government aims to use AI to boost productivity, innovation, and economic competitiveness across multiple sectors.
