In a major move to boost scientific cooperation, the University of Sargodha (UoS) in Pakistan and Zaozhuang School of Technology (ZST) in China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a Joint Research Centre on Lithium Batteries at UoS.
Recognizing lithium battery technology as vital for clean energy and sustainable mobility, both institutions agreed to collaborate extensively in research and academic exchange.
As reported by China Economic Net, the collaboration will center on material science, energy storage systems, and other related technologies.
The MoU outlines plans for faculty and researcher exchanges, student training, joint supervision, and the co-hosting of seminars and workshops.
The partnership also includes joint research projects, patent development, and the creation of academic programs aimed at capacity building in this key technological area.
