Pakistan’s seafood exports to China reached $255 million, driven by demand for frozen fish, cephalopods, and processed seafood products across both coastal and inland markets.
Guangdong, Shandong, and Beijing were the top importers, with inland provinces like Sichuan and Yunnan also showing rising demand, thanks to improved cold-chain logistics.
Industry analysts attributed growth to competitive pricing, compliance with Chinese food safety standards, and upgraded Pakistani processing facilities, signaling a stronger footprint in China’s seafood market.
