Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong emphasized that China and Pakistan are strong supporters of global fairness and justice, and should work with the broader international community to uphold the WTO centered multilateral trading system.
During the handover ceremony of agricultural equipment donated by China to Pakistan, Jiang highlighted the importance of openness, inclusiveness, and cooperation in overcoming global economic challenges such as supply chain disruptions and protectionist policies.
China donated 278 sets of agricultural machinery to Pakistan, including tractors, harvesters, seeders, and solar-powered water pumps, with a total value of 30 million yuan (around Rs1.16 billion), provided entirely free of charge.
Jiang added that agricultural cooperation under CPEC covers a broad spectrum, including grain, cotton, oil crops, livestock, and dairy production.
