The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a 14-day preparatory program for 200 agriculture graduates from Pakistan ahead of their advanced training in China. Held at Sindh Agriculture University in Tandojam, the course focuses on modern farming techniques and cutting-edge agricultural technologies.

This initiative is part of Pakistan’s national program to train 1,000 young agriculture professionals in China. Participants will gain hands-on experience in AI-driven agriculture, drone applications, seed production, and efficient water management systems to boost farming productivity.

HEC Director General Aayesha Ikram emphasized the importance of youth leadership in modernizing Pakistan’s agriculture sector. With previous batches returning as master trainers, this program aims to enhance food security and bring innovative farming practices back to Pakistan.
