In a major step toward strengthening international academic collaboration, Rector of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, visited Nankai University in China and signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its President, Prof. Chen Yulu.
The agreement is set to significantly enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of education, research, and innovation. Under the MoU, both institutions will launch initiatives such as student and faculty exchange programs, collaborative research projects, joint internships, and the development of shared innovation platforms.
During the signing ceremony, both sides reiterated their commitment to a forward-looking partnership grounded in mutual goals, academic excellence, and impactful knowledge exchange. The collaboration aims to foster long-term academic and technological advancements that transcend national boundaries.
The visit by Dr. Latif highlights NUST’s continued efforts to expand its global academic presence and build meaningful partnerships with leading international institutions.
