The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad said that the Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project has successfully achieved 1+ milestone through joint efforts of both Chinese & Pakistani workers.
Furthermore, this project will add 800MW hydel electricity, contributing 2.86bn units of low-cost & environment-friendly electricity annually to the national grid. In addition, the Mohmand dam project will also provide sustainable water resources for agriculture and human consumption in the province, contributing to national energy and water security.
