An eighth-grade student from the Government Girls High School in Faqeer Colony, Gwadar, has secured second place in a province-level English essay writing competition.
The achievement earned recognition from Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti during a ceremony in Gwadar.
Student Receives Recognition
Amina Dad Karim, a student at the school, received the award from the Chief Minister. The institution is also widely known as the China-Pak Friendship School.
Bugti praised Amina’s performance and highlighted the potential of Balochistan’s young students. He also appreciated her parents, teachers, and school administration for supporting her academic development.
Teacher Highlights Students’ Potential
Teacher and school coordinator Naseem Baloch accepted the award on Amina’s behalf.
Naseem, a graduate of Central China Normal University in Wuhan, said the achievement showed the growing opportunities available to students.
She also praised the students for representing their school on different platforms. Moreover, she noted that education can create opportunities that were previously out of reach for many young people.
China-Pakistan Cooperation Supports School
The China-Pakistan Government Girls High School Faqeer Colony was established with Chinese assistance in 2016.
Since then, Chinese delegations have visited the school and supported educational exchanges and development initiatives.
As a result, the school has continued to provide students with opportunities to improve their academic skills and participate in wider educational activities.

Amina’s achievement highlights the academic potential of students in Gwadar and Balochistan.
Furthermore, the school’s development reflects how education and international cooperation can create new opportunities for young people.
