Gwadar Development Authority initiates tree planting to celebrate the spring season, with a target of 2,000 saplings across schools, Marine Drive, Airport Road, and other city areas. Officials say the campaign promotes environmental awareness and greener urban spaces.
Students and staff actively joined the drive at GDA School, planting diverse saplings while learning the value of environmental conservation. The principal emphasized the role of trees in making Gwadar lush, sustainable, and visually appealing.
GDA calls on citizens for support in caring for planted saplings, including watering and protecting them from grazing animals. Authorities stressed that community participation is key to achieving a long-term green vision for Gwadar.
