The fourth consignment of relief goods from China has arrived in Karachi to support people affected by recent natural calamities in Pakistan.
According to official sources, the latest shipment includes 1,000 sleeping bags, 14,000 tents, and 12,000 blankets, aimed at addressing urgent humanitarian needs in disaster-hit areas.
The relief supplies were transported by trucks and stored at a warehouse in Karachi under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
With the arrival of this consignment, Pakistan has so far received a total of 45,000 blankets, 20,000 tents, 100 boats, 1,000 life jackets, and 5,000 sleeping bags from China through four separate aid shipments.
NDMA officials said all available resources are being mobilized to assist affected communities, adding that the distribution of relief goods will be ensured according to on-ground requirements in impacted regions.
