The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has established a new customs station at the Pak-Iran border to facilitate passengers and manage personal baggage arriving from Iran. The initiative aims to improve convenience and streamline cross-border movement.
According to an official notification, the new station named Jeerak has been set up in District Panjgur. The move is part of broader efforts to enhance border infrastructure and ensure regulated travel and trade activities in the region.
Officials stated that the development builds on previous measures, including the opening of a new crossing point in the Kohak Cheedgi area in 2025 to promote legal trade and economic activity in Balochistan.
The new customs station is expected to support growing travel and trade between Pakistan and Iran while strengthening border management and economic connectivity.
