During the 3-day Basant festival, around 904,036 passengers traveled on Lahore’s CPEC Orange Line Metro Train. This free service allowed kite-flying enthusiasts to celebrate safely and comfortably.
Despite record passenger volumes, the Orange Line teams ensured smooth, safe, and uninterrupted rides. Dedicated crews cleared tracks overnight to maintain operational excellence.
The metro provided more than mobility. Passengers enjoyed scenic views while connecting modern infrastructure with Lahore’s vibrant cultural heritage and Basant festivities, marking the highest ridership since operations began in 2020.
