China is set to host the inaugural meeting of the International Military Cooperation Organs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States for 2025 on March 26 and 27, a defense spokesperson announced on Friday.
According to Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of National Defense, the meeting will take place in Qingdao, Shandong Province, located in eastern China.
Delegates from the defense ministries of SCO member states, along with representatives from the SCO secretariat, will participate in discussions on strengthening future defense and security cooperation, Zhang stated.
