China to build first-class business environment: Premier Li expressed during a meeting on the sidelines of East Asia cooperation leaders’ meetings in Vientiane.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang stated on Thursday that China is committed to creating a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized.

Li expressed these views during a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, which took place on the sidelines of the East Asia cooperation leaders’ meetings in Vientiane.

He welcomed increased investment from Australian businesses into China and expressed hope that Australia would ensure a fair, safe, non-discriminatory, and predictable environment for Chinese companies looking to invest and operate in Australia.
