Pakistan’s marble and onyx exports to China remained broadly stable in 2025, supported by consistent demand from the construction and interior decoration sectors. Trade activity typically increases ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival, helping sustain Pakistan’s stone exports in the Chinese market.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), exports of cut marble and travertine recorded modest growth compared to 2024. Pakistan also maintained its position among the leading suppliers of calcareous building stone to China, reflecting continued demand for Pakistani marble and onyx products.
Industry representatives say customer interest in Pakistani stone products remains strong due to their quality and craftsmanship. Export trends indicate gradual movement toward value-added stone products, particularly cut marble, even as shipments of raw materials show mixed performance.
