A 12-member delegation from Balochistan left for Guangdong, China, on December 8, 2025, to boost investment opportunities and promote people-to-people relations. The group includes representatives from Gwadar Port Authority, district administration, education authorities, and other key departments.
The delegation will visit Zhuhai, Gwadar’s sister city since 2015, to learn from its urban development, trade practices, and tourism initiatives. They will also travel to Shenzhen to study its transformation into a technology and economic hub.
During the visit, officials will meet Chinese government and business leaders and tour institutions in technology, sustainability, transport, and energy. The goal is to attract investment, strengthen bilateral cooperation, and support Gwadar’s vision as a regional commercial and innovation center.
This exchange emphasizes the growing collaboration between Balochistan and Chinese provinces, highlighting the importance of economic partnerships, technology transfer, and people-to-people engagement to drive sustainable development.
