Bahrain has formally requested the Pakistan Air Force to provide comprehensive training for its pilots and aviation personnel.
Focus on Advanced Aviation Training
The request was conveyed by Thiab Saqer Abdulla Al-Nuaimi during high-level meetings in Islamabad. In addition, Bahrain proposed joint training programs covering fighter conversion, multi-domain operations, and engineering support.
Strengthening Operational Readiness
According to officials, the initiative aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the Royal Bahraini Air Force through knowledge transfer and specialized training. Moreover, Bahrain views the PAF’s training system as a valuable model for developing advanced aviation skills.
PAF Highlights Modernization Efforts
During the discussions, Air Chief Marshal officials outlined the PAF’s modernization initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and updated training methodologies. Furthermore, they highlighted expertise in emerging domains such as cyber, space, and electronic warfare.
Longstanding Defense Cooperation
The request builds on existing defense ties between Pakistan and Bahrain. Notably, both countries signed a military cooperation agreement in 2018, which has supported regular exchanges, joint exercises, and defense collaboration.

Meanwhile, Bahraini officials have shown growing interest in cooperation across pilot training, technical support, and aviation industry development. As a result, the latest discussions are expected to further strengthen defense relations between the two countries.
