A charity donation ceremony was held at Anjuman Faizul Islam in Rawalpindi on October 15. The event marked the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.
Under the theme “Gathering Love for China-Pakistan Friendship, Building People-to-People Bonds Through Youth,” Chinese civil society groups provided supplies to orphaned and underprivileged young people.
Chinese Groups Donate Shoes and Clothing
A Chinese cultural and media company donated 1,050 pairs of peace-themed shoes and 500 T-shirts to local youth.
The Pakistan Fujian Chamber of Commerce also contributed charitable supplies worth 5 million Pakistani rupees. The donation included items for students’ campus life and daily needs.
These contributions aim to help address shortages of essential supplies among young people in the region.
Organizations Support China-Pakistan Friendship
The Cultural Office of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan guided the event. The Pakistan Chinese Education Association and the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community organized the ceremony.
Several overseas Chinese associations, businesses and charitable institutions also supported the initiative.
The ceremony highlighted the role of community organizations in promoting people-to-people ties between China and Pakistan. The donations also reflected a shared focus on supporting young people and improving access to essential resources.
As both countries mark 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2026, initiatives involving education, welfare and youth engagement continue to provide opportunities for community-level cooperation.
