Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan is open for business amid renewed interest from international investors.
He made the remarks at the Pakistan Investment Roundtable hosted by the Pakistan High Commission in London.
Pakistan Completes IMF Reviews
Aurangzeb said Pakistan has successfully completed all scheduled reviews under its IMF program. He added that three rating upgrades have validated the country’s recent economic progress.
The finance minister highlighted continued efforts to strengthen economic stability. He said the government remains committed to macroeconomic stabilization while pursuing sustainable growth.
Government Pushes Structural Reforms
The government is also implementing a broad structural reform agenda. According to Aurangzeb, these reforms aim to create a stronger environment for the private sector.

Fiscal Consolidation Shows Progress
Aurangzeb highlighted improvements from the government’s fiscal consolidation efforts. These include a primary surplus, a lower fiscal deficit, and stronger revenue collection.
