Focus on CPEC 2.0 Implementation
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the need to accelerate follow-up actions on decisions taken during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China. Moreover, special attention was given to expanding cooperation under CPEC 2.0 in agriculture, IT, industries, SEZs, and mines and minerals.

Review of Investment Agreements
In addition, the Prime Minister stressed timely implementation of memorandums of understanding signed during the Hangzhou B2B Investment Conference. As a result, both countries aim to ensure that agreements translate into practical economic outcomes.
Infrastructure and Connectivity Projects
Furthermore, discussions included fast-tracking key infrastructure initiatives such as the Karakoram Highway realignment project. At the same time, both sides reviewed progress on enhancing regional connectivity and logistics efficiency.
Broader Strategic Cooperation
The talks also covered security cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts, and defense collaboration. Meanwhile, regional and global developments were also exchanged to align strategic perspectives.
Reaffirmation of Bilateral Commitment
Finally, the Chinese ambassador reaffirmed Beijing’s commitment to strengthening the “iron-clad” partnership. Consequently, both countries reiterated their intent to deepen cooperation across economic and strategic sectors.
