Pakistan has confirmed sufficient petroleum supplies through April 25, with refineries operating between 80% and 100% capacity. Diversified import strategies have helped safeguard the country from potential disruptions caused by escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Officials reported that fuel inventories remain stable due to enhanced stock management and timely procurement, ensuring smooth supply chains over recent weeks.
A critical component of the plan has been increased petrol and diesel imports from Oman, including three gasoline cargoes and one diesel shipment received in March, with two additional petrol shipments expected before month-end. The state-owned Pakistan State Oil is also negotiating further cargoes to meet rising domestic demand.
