The Pakistan-China Dasu Hydropower Project (DHPP) has launched a campaign to distribute hygiene kits among students in schools within the project area to encourage personal hygiene and healthier daily routines. The initiative began with a ceremony on March 12 at Government Centennial Model High School for Boys in Dasu, where hygiene kits were handed out to students.
Under the program, boys and girls studying in selected schools across the DHPP area will receive essential hygiene items. The campaign aims to promote proper hygiene habits and support better personal health among students.
The ceremony was attended by Director Social and Resettlement Shoaib ur Rehman Afridi, officials from local government, WAPDA, NESPAK, and DHC, along with school teachers, health department representatives, and a large number of students.This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the Pakistan-China Dasu HPP to support education and contribute to the well-being of local communities, particularly children living in the project area.
