The Pak-China Friendship Hospital in Gwadar treated more than 48,000 patients during January and February 2026, solidifying its role as a primary healthcare facility for residents of the Makran Division. In January, 25,575 patients received treatment, followed by 23,081 patients in February, bringing the total to 48,656 patients for the first two months of the year.
The hospital continues to provide free medicines, diagnostic services, and meals to admitted patients, ensuring that healthcare remains accessible and affordable. On average, 1,100 to 1,200 patients visit the hospital daily to receive medical care and diagnostic support.
Hospital administration says the facility plays a critical role in improving healthcare access in coastal areas of Gwadar, serving as a trusted medical hub for residents and supporting the region’s overall public health infrastructure.
