A Chinese citizen was killed in Tehran amid ongoing military conflicts, the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed. Spokesperson Mao Ning expressed condolences and emphasized support for the bereaved family.
The Ministry directed the Chinese Embassy in Iran to provide assistance to the affected individual’s family and facilitate necessary support during this difficult time.
As of March 2, more than 3,000 Chinese citizens have been evacuated from Iran. Chinese embassies and consulates in neighboring countries have deployed teams to assist evacuees at ports and ensure their safe return.
Authorities continue to closely monitor the situation, coordinating with diplomatic missions to protect Chinese nationals amid the evolving security challenges in the region.
