The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan hosted a special Spring Festival celebration in Islamabad to mark the Chinese New Year and reaffirm the longstanding friendship between the two countries. The event brought together officials, diplomats and guests to celebrate cultural ties and mutual cooperation.
Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik attended as chief guest and highlighted China’s consistent support for Pakistan, particularly during difficult economic periods. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has moved toward economic stabilization and is now focusing on sustained growth, with China remaining a key partner in sectors such as energy, mining and infrastructure.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong emphasized that China’s confidence in Pakistan remains strong and that both countries will continue expanding cooperation across multiple fields. The ceremony concluded with a message of unity and shared prosperity, symbolizing the enduring all-weather partnership between the two nations as they enter the new year together.
