Pakistan and China marked 75 years of strategic alliance with a special ceremony in Karachi featuring a logo design competition that highlighted the historic, cultural, and diplomatic bonds between the two nations. The event showcased the enduring friendship that has evolved from neighborly ties to a comprehensive all-weather strategic partnership.
Ms. Nayab Zahra won third prize for her logo design, which creatively reflected cooperation, unity, and shared progress. Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong, along with Pakistani officials and diplomats from Malaysia and Indonesia, attended the ceremony, underscoring the importance of cultural exchange and people-to-people connections.
The celebration also highlighted the upgraded China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC 2.0), focusing on industrial, agricultural, and mining projects designed to benefit local communities. Officials emphasized that youth and future generations are key to carrying forward the legacy of friendship, ensuring continued growth and stability in bilateral relations.
Coinciding with the upcoming Chinese Year of the Horse, symbolizing resilience, strength, and success, the event carried an optimistic message for a prosperous, cooperative, and sustainable future between Pakistan and China.
