Gwadar Municipal Committee (GMC) and Alkhidmat Foundation Balochistan have signed a landmark MoU to ensure potable water, emergency healthcare, and a clean environment for Gwadar residents.
Under the agreement, Alkhidmat will install water filtration plants, provide water boring facilities, and support emergency response services with equipment and staff training. GMC will also construct a 20,000-gallon underground water tank.
The MoU further includes welfare initiatives such as wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, plantation under the Green and Clean project, and a request for fiber rescue boats to save fishermen during sea emergencies.
