Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said Pakistan is fully committed to creating a cooperative environment for Chinese investors in agriculture. He stressed that the aim is for Chinese enterprises to grow, innovate, and succeed alongside local partners.
Speaking at the Pakistan China Investment Conference, he highlighted CPEC Phase II and the 41 MoUs signed in 2025, which cover modern farming, livestock, fisheries, and technology transfer. He emphasized that collaboration will improve productivity and export quality.
Officials noted opportunities in machinery, food processing, and value addition. Government reforms, streamlined policies, digital customs procedures, and facilitation by BOI, SIFC, and FBR aim to ensure smooth investment processes while strengthening food security.
