The OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (OIC-COMSTECH), in partnership with UNI International and leading Chinese institutions, launched an online skills program from Gwadar. The initiative focuses on developing digital literacy, technical knowledge, and human capital among students across OIC member states.
The courses cover key future-oriented areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, renewable energy, digital entrepreneurship, and public health. The program aims to bridge skill gaps, increase employment opportunities, and equip youth with tools for sustainable socio-economic growth.
Over 530 students from 15 countries have already enrolled in the first phase. OIC-COMSTECH Coordinator General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary highlighted that cross-border online learning platforms expand access to high-quality education. Chinese partners provided support in curriculum development, digital infrastructure, and program coordination.
