Twenty-five Pakistani trainees have successfully completed a two-month pilot welding training program jointly organized by Chinese company CIIC and Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission in Islamabad.
The program also included basic Chinese language training, enabling graduates to better integrate into workplaces of Chinese companies operating in Pakistan. Certificates were awarded during a graduation ceremony held at NAVTTC headquarters.
Officials said the initiative aims to equip Pakistani youth with internationally recognized technical skills while strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation, with plans to expand similar training programs to other technical sectors.
