Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Kashmir Institute of Nuclear Medicine, Oncology and Radiotherapy (KINOR) in Muzaffarabad on December 28. He unveiled a plaque and offered Dua for the success of the institute and the well-being of patients.
The new institute aims to provide advanced medical treatment for cancer patients, bringing modern healthcare facilities closer to residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for specialized care.
Officials and health experts attended the ceremony, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure. The PM emphasized the importance of serving humanity through quality medical services, marking the institute as a key milestone in the region’s healthcare development.
