Pakistan has received the third consignment of flood relief assistance from China, further strengthening humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. The shipment, delivered by sea to Karachi, includes essential items aimed at supporting flood-affected communities.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the latest consignment consists of 100 boats, 5,000 tents, and 8,000 blankets. These supplies have been transported from the port to NDMA warehouses and will be distributed to affected areas based on assessed needs and ground conditions.
With the arrival of this shipment, total Chinese flood assistance now includes 33,000 blankets, 6,000 tents, 100 boats, 1,000 life jackets, and 4,000 sleeping bags. NDMA appreciated China’s timely support and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring transparent and need-based distribution for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
