A new China-Pakistan SME Training Centre has been launched in Peshawar to strengthen cooperation in vocational education and digital entrepreneurship. The centre was inaugurated at the Government Advanced Technical Training Centre (GATTC) and marks an important step toward enhancing skill development for young Pakistanis.
The facility aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises by offering training in entrepreneurship, management, e-commerce, and digital business skills. Developed jointly by Chinese and Pakistani experts, the program focuses on aligning education with modern market needs and emerging economic trends.
Officials and representatives from partner institutions highlighted that the centre will promote industry-education integration, resource sharing, and teacher exchanges. The initiative is expected to improve employment opportunities, encourage start-ups, and strengthen bilateral cooperation between China and Pakistan in human capital development.
