The 6th China-Russia Media Forum took place in Beijing on December 16, 2025, focusing on deepening media collaboration and supporting development between the two nations.
Li Shulei, member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and head of the Publicity Department, delivered the keynote speech highlighting stable and high-level development of China-Russia relations under strategic guidance from both countries’ leaders.
Around 140 officials and media representatives from both countries attended. During the forum, 11 agreements were signed to enhance bilateral media cooperation, foster people-to-people exchanges, and tackle challenges in digital and intelligent media transformation.
The forum was organized by China’s Xinhua News Agency and Russia’s TASS News Agency, hosted by the CPC Publicity Department and the Russian Presidential Executive Office, emphasizing media’s role in strengthening bilateral relations and global influence.
