On World Children’s Day, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of children rights and education as a national priority. He highlighted the theme “My Day, My Rights,” urging recognition of children’s individual and collective rights at both national and international levels.
The Prime Minister stressed that children’s wellbeing and development are key to Pakistan’s future. He highlighted initiatives like the Daanish School Project, BISP child nutrition programs, and educational stipends, designed to support talented and underprivileged children nationwide.
Shehbaz Sharif called for comprehensive strategies to prevent violence against children and ensure access to modern, technology-focused education. He urged families, communities, and government institutions to work together to create a safe, nurturing environment for the next generation.
