Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, which killed at least 21 people, including four journalists and a rescue worker.
In a statement, the Foreign Office called the assault on a medical facility and the repeated targeting of civilians and journalists a flagrant violation of international human rights, humanitarian law, and freedom of the press.
The spokesperson urged the global community to hold Israel accountable for these crimes and to take urgent measures to end what it termed Israel’s impunity.
Extending its condemnation further, Pakistan also criticised Israel’s incursion into the Syrian Arab Republic, stressing that such actions blatantly contravene international law and the UN Charter. Reaffirming support for Syria, Pakistan emphasised its commitment to the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, while warning that Israel’s aggression threatens the peace and stability of the wider region.
