In line with prior arrangements between China and the European Union, European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are set to visit China on July 24. The announcement was made by a spokesperson from China’s Foreign Ministry on Monday in Beijing, who also confirmed that President Xi Jinping will meet with the visiting EU leaders.
The spokesperson added that Chinese Premier Li Qiang, along with the two EU dignitaries, will co-chair the 25th China-EU Summit.
