BEIJING – PAF chief, Chinese minister vow bolstering Sino-Pak strategic cooperation as both praised the progress in bilateral military relations over the recent years.
On Tuesday, Pakistan Air Force Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar met with China’s Minister of National Defense, Dong Jun, in Beijing. The meeting focused on advancing the strategic defense partnership and enhancing military cooperation between the two countries.
Dong Jun lauded the achievements made in bilateral military collaboration over recent years, referring to Pakistan as a close and trusted ally. He emphasized China’s readiness to deepen strategic dialogue, boost practical cooperation, and work jointly with Pakistan to ensure global and regional peace and stability.
Chief Babar expressed Pakistan’s sincere gratitude for the long-standing, close ties between the two nations. He underlined the Pakistan Air Force’s interest in expanding mutual exchanges and formalizing institutional cooperation with the Chinese military.
He further stressed Pakistan’s dedication to upholding high standards in joint drills and military training, aiming to contribute meaningfully toward tackling shared security concerns. The meeting signified a strengthened phase in China-Pakistan defense ties, highlighting their united approach to addressing current global security challenges. Both parties reaffirmed their intent to continue reinforcing collaboration for lasting regional and international peace.
