China ready to work with U.S. for mutually beneficial cooperation in business as stated by Chinese vice commerce minister.
Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen stated that China is willing to strengthen communication with the United States to establish stable expectations and a favorable policy environment for mutually beneficial business cooperation. He made these remarks during a meeting with a U.S. company counselor.
Wang, who also serves as China’s international trade representative, emphasized that China-U.S. economic and trade relations are inherently beneficial for both nations. He noted that confrontation and conflict should not be the path either country chooses. His comments came during a meeting on Monday with Myron Brilliant, senior counselor at Albright Stonebridge Group.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the two officials discussed various aspects of China-U.S. economic and trade relations. Wang underscored the importance of cooperation based on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and shared benefits.
He highlighted that China’s commitment to high-quality economic development will create more opportunities for foreign-invested enterprises. Wang also reiterated China’s stance on key issues, including the U.S. decision to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods.
Brilliant acknowledged the vast potential for economic and trade collaboration between the two nations. He expressed optimism that both governments would engage in more dialogue and communication, working to build connections rather than barriers.
