Belarusian President Lukashenko visit to Pakistan starts today as he will engage in discussions regarding bilateral relations.
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to embark on a three-day official visit to Pakistan starting today. The Foreign Office stated that President Lukashenko will engage in extensive discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and collaboration.
During the visit, several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding will be signed, underscoring the strong and growing partnership between Pakistan and Belarus. Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warmly welcomed a high-level Belarusian delegation of 68 members upon their arrival in Islamabad.
The delegation includes key figures such as Belarus’ Foreign Minister, Minister for Energy, Minister for Justice, Minister for Transport, Minister for Natural Resources, Minister for Emergency Situations, and the Chairman of the Military Industry Committee, along with 43 prominent Belarusian business leaders.
Interior Minister Naqvi also met with Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov and Energy Minister. He welcomed the delegation to Islamabad, expressing the anticipation of both the government and the people of Pakistan for President Lukashenko’s visit, emphasizing its importance in strengthening bilateral relations.
