During their visit to Xi’an, the delegation toured prominent companies and institutions such as LONGi Green Energy Technology Co, the Institute of Water-saving in Arid Areas of China, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Demonstration Base for Agricultural Technology Exchange and Training.
These visits showcased the significant potential for joint efforts, reflecting a mutual dedication to technological and agricultural progress.
Murtaza Solangi, former Pakistani minister of information, highlighted the opportunities for cooperation, particularly after visiting companies like LONGi. He emphasized the importance of energy and agriculture as key areas for developing substantial cooperative ventures.
Given Pakistan’s vulnerability to climate change, the government has initiated projects to expand green energy, collaborating with China in wind and solar power. These partnerships are making new-energy products more accessible in Pakistan’s rural regions, as noted by Arbab Ali Asghar, a journalist from PTV.
