Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has urged senior Party officials to embrace new responsibilities and take proactive steps in driving forward Chinese modernization.
These remarks came after Xi reviewed the annual work reports submitted by senior Party officials to the CPC Central Committee and himself.
