Xi, who is also the president of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made these remarks in recognition of the 70th anniversary of a training program for ethnic officials in Xinjiang, organized by the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.
He highlighted the key role the training program has played over the past 70 years in strengthening the cadre of officials, promoting economic and social development, and ensuring social stability and long-term security in Xinjiang.
Xi stressed the importance of fully implementing the Party’s policies for governing Xinjiang and urged the fostering of a strong sense of national unity among the Chinese people through the training program.
Additionally, he called for enhanced research on ethnic affairs and emphasized improving the quality and effectiveness of the training program.
